Restaurant
Eating Well Naturally
Meals shaped by the seasons and the land around us. Simple, local, and served in a calm setting in the heart of the North.
At the heart of our restaurant is the fire oven. Everything is thoughtfully prepared, and our meat is slow-cooked for many hours before reaching its final stages in the hearth. Simplicity is the key here. Each evening we offer just two dishes — one meat and one fish — alongside a vegetarian option. And for those looking for something different, we also serve wonderful pizzas from the oven.
The menu is never fixed. Our environment is seasonal, and the ingredients we use depend on what is freshest and available each day. The process is meticulous, and we take pride in our simple yet powerful creations. And the desserts — every one of them originates from the kitchen of Chef Völundarson's mother, rooted in Icelandic tradition.
Þorgrímur is unhurried. We offer only a limited number of seatings each evening, creating a relaxed setting where our guests can enjoy the tranquility and take their time.
